Description: Basic operation of the Macintosh: working with desktop, applications programs,
files, and Printing Documents.


Class Objectives:
1. Working with the desktop. Copy/saving and moving files, opening applications
2. Keyboard shortcuts, OS and Applications
3. Viewing and moving windows, Searching and Finding files
4. Fonts and Printing Documents
5. Working with Multimedia, sound/video/CD-ROM. Burning CD-ROM
6. Fixing Macintosh computer
7. Working with PC files
8. Networking my Mac
9. Making CD-ROM and DVDs.


Book: No Required book.


Two Saturdays 9/10 and 9/17
Times: Saturday 8:15AM - 12:30PM and Saturday 1:00PM - 5:15PM


Grading
This class is Pass/No Pass only. There is no Grade. Participate in class activities and you will receive credit.
