Advanced Photoshop Lessons. Do one lesson week for 15 weeks. The class is broken into 4 sections Photoshop for Photographers, Photoshop for artist, Photoshop for web/Print, and Photoshop for Film Video and 3-D. Bring Headphone to class so you can watch videos and work on assignments while I take to Illustrator.

Week 1 - Introduction to Class. Basic Photo retouchings

Homework - Read the Handouts for this week. We will review basic Photoshop photo correcting. Also, we will cover Camera Raw.

Homework - Correct this photos using the techniques you know and some new techniques.

Week 3 - Making the Pano.

Resources - Making a Pano. I will demonstrate how to shoot a series of Photoshop to make a Pano.

After you put together your pano you will bee to color correct your final. Watch these video from Jean about color correction.

We will review your portrait and how to make into poster.

Assignment - Create an environmental portrait. Photo of person in there environment. Wine maker in factory, jogger at track. Try to get out and not just do at your house. Plan, plan. Photoshop part will be fixing photo. Making into poster or magazine cover.

This should take 2 weeks. I think be done by March 11.

This weeks videos cover line drawing with the pen tool and texture enhancing techniques. These techniques are useful for taking a photographic image and rendering it with more line detail and painterly like texture.

2 works this week for homework.

1. Use at least 3 photos together using the blending modes learn in book and class. Think of hard, cooled objects under or over warm soft objects.

2. Photoshop drawing, Watch jeans videos on adding lines to images, and or add the artbrush techniques to a final image.

Homework - You are to make a web face interface in Photoshop. You do not need to slice and place in Dreamweaver like the video shows. Only make a web layout. This should include a Banner, Title, Buttons all wrapped in the correct size for a web site. Do this week to show next week.
