Introduction - This course focuses on web site layout and design using the software HTML editor Dreamweaver. Emphasis is on implementing navigation, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) layouts, testing, and debugging.

How this class works.

  1. There will be a lesson for each week of the class. Each lesson includes web reading, videos, and assignment.
  2. Video instruction - These are video instruction that you watch on you computer.
  3. Assignments - There are several different web sites we will build in class. After the midterm we will be building one web site with many different features. This is were you will start your own web site. Before mid term you will be most using my content to build sites.
  4. Class is Grade or Pass/No Pass Only. Compete the assignments and you will receive grade of Pass. Read Syllabus for more detail.

Questions

  1. What software do I need for this class. You should use the Firefox browser for the Internet, Have the Latest Flash Player.
  2. What if I don't want to use Firefox browser. I test the web site media on firefox. If you like to use Internet Explorer on Windows or Safari on Mac thats fine, but I have had some video playback problems on these browser but try and see.
  3. Where can I buy cheap Digital Media software - www.collegesoftware.org
