Lesson 1 - Introduction to the Flash Application. You can get started by watching the video below and getting the application installed. Make sure to install the application this week. If you want to take full advantage to Flash you should also have Photoshop, Illustartor, and Dreamweaver Installed. Flash is a very diffcult application to learn, make sure take you time to learn.

Introduction Videos - You do not have to make these projects. Just watch the videos to see how Flash works.

1. Jeff Rascov Video Intro to class. - Yes is this a Video from last Summer. But watch, It will explain important concepts for the class.
2. Heres a great overview of the Flash tools. Watch the overview video. - this is 39 Minutes long, but explains a good overview of the application.

Book Reading - Yes we will start with lesson 1 in the book. But you don't have to do this week. Chapter 1 in the book will be due next week.

Online Reading

1. Read - This link is a great introduction to the application. * star point - Under (Figure 2) make sure you understand how to change the look of the windows. I mostly use the classic option - it looks like version CS3 for those students I am working with. Try changing this option to see the different looks.
2. A good overview of Flash tools.
3. The Layersmagazine.com has some great tutorials we will use some of these is this class.

Assignment 1 - Hopefully you have viewed the samples from the first page of this class. In this assignment you are to find out how Flash is used on the Internet. There is many different uses of Flash. I want you to do some research. Search the Internet and Find 3 good examples of how Flash is being used.
