Lesson 5 - This week will be a foundation of Digital Audio. Read the handout and watch the video on how to record music into the computer.

Poem and music mix. I want you to download my mystery music.

Mystery music Music in Zip format.

Then use Audacity to recorded your voice and mix with music and sound effects. See videos for this week. Save as a MP3 and email or post on the vimeo site. Yes I think you can post audio only.

  1. The Art of Recording - Author Willian Moylan ISBN - 0-442-00669-1 - This is good general recording - from 1991
  2. Audio Postproduction for Film and Video - Author Jay Rose - ISBN 978-0-240-80971-7 This is an excellent book. If you want to buy an audio book I recommend this one. Check out the author web site. Jay Rose
