Course Description:
Students will explore the world of multimedia including multimedia technology, skills, and creative process. Students will understand how multimedia fits into the business structure and how multimedia tools can benefit operations. Digital media jobs and skills required for specific positions.

Objective:
On completion of this course students should be able to:

• Explain the term digital media and how it is used in the field of communications, education, art, publishing, television and video.
• Describe hardware and software requirements for digital media.
• Summarize methods and uses of multimedia applications such as games, CD-ROMs, movies, video, and the internet.
• Describe digital media jobs and skills require to be employed.
• Explain basic digital media artwork production.
