Lesson 1: Understand Flash and Begin Drawing

Chapter 3 Due 2 Drawings Begin By search the Internet to find some example of nice web site layouts > taking some screen captures, open the images in photoshop. You can use the crop tool to cut pieces out and place in new layout.

Blending of text over pictures - This week you should practice writing text on a new layer over pictures in Flash. Make sure each is a symbol.

    This week you are to practice sound file. On the web site www.flashkit.com, download and series of sound effects files, save in 1 folder to be used later in Flash projects.
Lesson 7 - Slide show and Basic Flash templates This week you are to complete a photo slide show. Try to take your own photos.   Slide Show Animation Working with sound sync. Create 1 slide show examples using the templates in Flash. Using the audio tools. sync the sound to pictures.
Lesson 8 - Working with Mask This week we will learn about making Mask, Also we will have midterm, Review slide show homework.     Using computer microphone, narration of a storie. Create 1 slide show example in Flash sync to the narration

Lesson 10 - Design examples - We will look at slide shows, But really want to jump to lesson 11. Button week and mask example.   Button Practice Working in Flash create 10 button examples. The buttons should have animation, sound, and motion.
Lesson 11 - Making the final web site Introduction to Programming Chapter 12 Layout example of final web site. Working with multiple scene files. Create a final flash files that transition from 3 or more scene files. Make sure to include Text and picture in each scene files.
Lesson 12 - Week of April 22- earth day Making of the main menu Show teacher final project artwork Page 315   Working with videos. Download a series of video from rascov.com web site. Practice compressing the video into the Flash format. Make sure to type several different settings.
Lesson 13 Making Load Movie and Working with Text. Chapter 13 in the book   Your can export in several different formats in Flash, Practice exporting your flash files in the Digital Video format. Make sure to use the correct size for video.
