We played a very tough Rengstorff team on Dec. 1, and lost 0-3 although we were close in all 3 matches. Another night, it could have gone our way.

Bryan and Judy played #1 against Paul Herbst, 4.0, and Greta, 4.0. Bryan felt Paul played like a 4.5. Could really put the ball away. Greta played very solid as well. Opponents won the first set 6-4. We won the second set 6-2. They played a third set which the opponents won 6-3. Great effort, Bryan and Judy.

Ben and Randy played #2 against Adam Brody, 4.0, and Caroline Raymond, 4.0 - year end rating of 4.5. Caroline served well and hit with a ton of pace. I could see why she now has a 4.5 rating. She did not like Randy's lob! Adam was equally tough. The opponents won the first set 6-3. Second set was very tight, going to a tiebreak which the opponent won. Great try, Ben and Randy.

Xun and Noriko played #3 against Christine Commodore, 4.0, and Rajeev Kelkar, 4.0. Christine played very solid at the net and baseline. Worked well with her partner, Rajeev. Both sets were close but the opponent won 6-4, 6-4. Xun and Noriko both played well this match.
